Bruxism – The Causes and The Cure

Bruxism is the grinding of your teeth and clenching of your jaw. It commonly occurs during either the daytime or nighttime. The nighttime grinding of teeth and clenching of the jaw creates the majority of health issues for most people. Sufferers of this disorder are often referred to as bruxers. Most of the sufferers have no idea they had this disorder until a parent or significant other advises them. Bruxism is one of the most common sleep disorders. This disorder can be classified as a “habitual behavior” and a “sleep disorder”. Twenty percent of adults suffer from this disorder.
